Both NK-36ST (Kuznetsov, Samara) and PS-90GP-25 (Aviadvigatel, Perm) gas turbine engines (following customer request) can be used as a centrifugal compressor drive. One of the three centrifugal compressor sites can be used in GPA-25 scope: either with lubrication oil system and oil seal or with lubrication oil system and dry gas seal or with rotor magnetic bearing and dry gas-dynamic seal.
GPA-25 was chosen by Gazprom for compressor stations construction at South Stream gas pipeline.
