UEC-Gas Turbines, Joint-stock Company (UEC-GT, JSC – a subsidiary of United Engine Corporation, a part of Rostec State Corporation) was awarded a contract with as Gapzrom Transgaz Tomsk for supply of two indoor GTN-16R gas compressor sets for Sakhakin main compressor station running on a Sakhalin portion of Sakhalin – Khabarovsk – Vladivostok gas trunk line. As per contract terms and conditions, the compressor sets should be delivered on site during the compressor station construction phase II in 2020 and three in 2021 correspondingly.
United Engine Corporation (part of the Rostec State Corporation) displayed PGU-120 combined-cycle power plant model (CCPP) illustrating Saki CHP renovation project in Crimea (total output of the plant is 120 MW, 2 PGU-60 units).
II International Forum “Arctic Shipbuilding” took place on June 20-21, 2019 in Arkhangelsk Northern (Arctic) Federal University named after M.V. Lomonosov. Its goal was completely achieved, i.e. to focus the attention of professional association on prospects and challenges of the Russian shipbuilding industry in the realm of Arctic industrial projects.
In the framework of St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, United Engine Corporation (part of Rostec State Corporation) and Gazprom signed an agreement of understanding on development of a new highly efficient 25 MW gas turbine engine for gas compressor applications at Gazprom facilities.
The signatures were put by Aleksandr Artyukhov, UEC General Director, and Vitaly Markelov, Deputy Chairman of the Gazprom Management Board.
UEC has already developed a concept design of the engine which will have technical and operational characteristics according to high standards of Gazprom. The parties have agreed on the design specifications of the engine.
It is planned to build a whole family of highly efficient gas turbine engines on the base of a common gas generator for gas compressor sets rated at up to 42 MW.
The parties have committed to develop their mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of design, serial production and application of the engines in new construction and renovation projects of the Gazprom pipeline system.
Aleksandr Artyukhov noted that this agreement was a significant step in the development of strategic cooperation between UEC and Gazprom and development of new highly efficient industrial gas turbine would facilitate strengthening the scientific and production potential of the corporation in the market segment.
In October 2018 the parties signed a Cooperation Program aimed to satisfy Gazprom needs in domestic effective gas turbine equipment for the period up to 2030.
