
Rybinsk-based UEC-Gas Turbines, Joint-stock Company (UEC-GT, a part of Rostec-incorporated UEC) has supplied four 25 MW GPA-25 gas compressor sets to Gryazovets – Slavyanskaya CS (Babaevskaya CS) trunk line section for Gazprom Invest.
Project for construction of new trunk line section Gryazovets – Slavyanskaya CS is implemented to supply gas to the entry point of Nord Stream 2 (located near Narva Bay in the Kingisepp district of Russia's Leningrad region) in the amount of 55 bln m3/year and to consumers in North-Western region of Russia, mainly located in Kingisepp district of Leningrad region, in the amount of up to 8 bln m3/year.
The GPA-25 gas compressor sets are driven by high-efficiency PS-90GP-25 gas turbines designed by UEC-Aviadvigatel and produced by UEC-Perm Engines.
The gas compressor set equipment commissioning is scheduled in 2020.
