UEC-Gas Turbines, JSC (part of the United Engine Corporation, Rostec Corporation) will supply 25 MW gas compressor sets GPA-25 to the Kamennomysskoye-more field for Gazprom Dobycha Yamburg (part of Gazprom). Based on the Gazprom decision UEC-GT was selected as a supplier of equipment.
Four GPA-25 gas compressor units will be supplied to the Kamennomysskoye-more field in the first quarter of 2023 for construction of the booster compressor station (BCS) first phase. Another four GPA-25 gas compressor units of the same type will be supplied for the second phase.
GPA-25 is driven by PS-90GP-25 gas turbine engine developed by UEC-Aviadvigatel, JSC and manufactured by UEC-Perm Engines, JSC. UEC-GT has been producing GPA-25 gas compressor sets since 2012; 34 units have been produced over the years and supplied for major Gazprom projects. They are being operated at Nord Stream, Nord Stream-2, Turkish Stream and others.
The booster compressor station that will be constructed from UEC equipment is designed for compression of gas from the Kamennomysskoye-more field to the pressure required for gas treatment and further transportation. The BCS will be a part of a gas treatment unit located on the Cape Parusnyi.
UEC-GT will also supply GTA-6RM power generating units for 36MW power station to the Kamennomysskoye-more field.
The Kamennomysskoye-more field is located in the Ob Gulf area between Cape Kamennyi and Cape Parusnyi. The Kamennomysskoye-more field discovered in 2000 is the largest in terms of geological reserves of gas. The Kamennomysskoye-more field holds more than 530 billion cubic meters of gas. Gazprom Dobycha Yamburg will be an operator company.
